Fantasy Boiz — 2026 Superflex Keeper Draft Recap

I fed Claude the entire league group chat and it called Salmaan a pick-swap merchant. Can't say it's wrong — he had the most shit coming in. But a lot of years he does some retarded shit, and this year actually looks pretty good.

Love Jalen Hurts at the back half of the second. Trey McBride's a little sketchy — new OC in Arizona — but i see where the love came from last year, and he really hammered it in taking two QBs (Hurts, Mahomes) in his first four picks while also going tight end. Interesting, given previous drafts where he went ham on wideouts. This year's receivers — DJ Moore, Alec Pierce, Christian Watson — all losers, but they're the WR1s of their own teams, so how much is there to hate?

What's scary is Josh Jacobs in the 11th (pick 121, +82 vs ADP) — the biggest value in the draft, even if Claude's too retarded to know it's not that good until maybe game 8 with the holdout flag. If Jacobs reports, he might have the best RB trio in the league between Gibbs, Jacobs, and Chase Brown. Tough to beat. Kyle Monangai, straight loser, otherwise didn't do much late. Unconventional, but solid. A.

No surprise Eric decided to grow up a little now that he's got a one-and-a-half-year-old daughter. Little surprising it took a full year to realize he's a mature man. Doesn't even reflect his team though — still a ton of YNs on there: Bijan, Parker Washington, Luther Burden, Drake Maye, even Jonathan Brooks. All 24 and under, all outside my dating range.

He wised up and filled the gaps instead of going 100% all-in on young boys — AJ Brown, David Montgomery, Mike Evans, good filler. Drake Maye was low-key one of the best keepers by ADP. They punted QB too far though — took Jacoby slightly early after getting hoodwinked out of Malik by me, then ended with Geno in the late 12th. Looks like shit, but low-key the exact strategy i was trying to run; those two might be sneaky productive. If this was the year to punt QB, that's how you do it.

Thin at RB — only three (Bijan, Montgomery, Brooks), and i don't even know if Brooks is playable off the ACL. Montgomery's a sneaky pick, might just be a touchdown vulture with Woody Marks catching balls, but even that's kind of beast. Receiver room's loaded: Evans as the WR3, Parker Washington in the flex, Luther Burden a big question mark that everyone in fantasy just wants to get on their knees for. Juicy team. YNs out of focus, plenty of good old boys to fill in.

Sleeper's own age breakdown confirms it: Mature Men aren't just the oldest team, they're the oldest by a landslide — 29.1 median, a full year-plus clear of the field. Eric and Brunts didn't draft a roster, they drafted a retirement home with a good WR corps.

Sorry Chan, your reign is over. Gayest guy in the league no longer belongs to you and Coop — between the matching earrings and Belling moving to Silver Lake, the crown is firmly Belling and John's. Those late-night strategy calls are bound to turn into hot gay guy walks to Joe & the Juice: oh hey look, it's John and the Jew. When i brought Belling in i thought it was for a Jewish diversity requirement; instead we got the league's first official LGBT co-ownership.

Onto the actual draft. A little surprised they didn't go Josh Allen — seems like John's allergic to taking Josh Allen even when he can (had the first pick once, blew it on Mahomes, still hasn't learned). The Jeremiyah Love pick i made fun of but honestly don't think it's that bad — or that good; generational talent behind a shitty offense always gets dragged down (see Ashton Jeanty last year). Kyren should be fine — every year they think it's the end and the guy just gets 20 carries and falls into the end zone. Reliable foundation.

No idea what the fuck they were doing at QB. Daniel Jones at pick 70 (−38, the single biggest reach of the draft), two rounds too early, guy coming off an ACL. Bryce Young too — one of the saddest QB rooms in the league right now, and it cost real capital between a 6th and an 8th. Did well on the back end though — MarShawn Lloyd in the 11th is a major steal, probably only known about because Salmaan took Jacobs two picks earlier, but you still get credit. Chan says that was definitely a Belling pick — already providing value. Draft looks so mid — Pittman and Tre Tucker as your WR3s — but the RB back-end saves it. B / B-.

Down a 7th this year. Really embarrassing going all-in when it was supposed to be my year and not even making the finals — very loser behavior. Let me pull my shit up. Getting Josh Allen at 4 feels pretty sweet, though I regret nerfing QB rushing TDs, since he's about the second-biggest beneficiary of that rule after Jalen Hurts. JSN at pick 21 is honestly bad keeper value. Pretty questionable to go Brock Bowers at 3-4 — did zero research, the draft guide I bought just said buy Brock, so I bought Brock. Don't even really like the Jalen Waddle pick I made the next round; I was just way too pussy to take Luther Burden, even though he's way swaggier. A little too much vino, a few too many Asian beers, so I just took whatever the guide said.

Fifth-sixth round I got super lucky — thought I was about to get railed at zero-RB but I'm pretty satisfied with De'Andre Swift and Jadarian Price, especially after the Sharpe news came out. Chan was lamenting he could've fucked me if he'd taken Swift instead — and he would have. My 7th turned out to be Waddle's backup, so I don't feel that bad shipping it to Sal after all. Malik Willis as QB2 in the 8th is a big, scary risk, but if any rushing QB pans out it's that archetype. Chris Godwin in the 9th is sneaky good; Stefon Diggs a pretty lazy pick. Draft would've been perfect if I'd hit MarShawn Lloyd instead of Kenny Gainwell — pretty upset about that one. Rest of the picks are loser-tier, but it doesn't look that bad all things considered. B.

Was a little worried when Kerry didn't show to draft — the whole Amato–Kerry split is that Kerry drafts and Amato does everything else in-season, so if Kerry's not drafting i don't know what value he's providing. Anybody who's been in the group chat with the two of them can attest it takes about five minutes before you kick Kerry out and just talk to Amato directly.

Amato did a decent job. Receiver's strong — Ja'Marr Chase plus Davante Adams. Can't believe they went back to Marvin Harrison Jr; don't know how many texts exist between those two calling MHJ a big ugly slur. Jordan Addison decent, like Jalen Coker a little. RB solid — Ashton Jeanty (don't like him, supposed to be a dog) and Breece Hall, probably the last good back in that tier before it drops off, on top of Quinshon, maybe the worst keeper in the draft this year. No way he takes Tyler Shough in the 6th if he weren't on the fantasy pod all offseason — surprised he went back to that well, but he's serviceable, and Cam Ward's decent insurance on the back end. B / B+. Should be fine this year.

Amato apparently took the wheel this year, and it shows — Lil_fellatio came out the youngest team in the league (25.7 avg). Reads like a man dragging the franchise back to its YN roots: get the kids in, bury the Kerry-era vets.

Hate to give credit where it's due, but i miss Bhuh and i really don't like that Jordan's drafting for him nowadays. After a season fully under his belt this is Jordan's team now, and it honestly looks good. Even though he didn't know he was fucking himself with the 6th pick, getting CMC — probably the best back on par with the top two — was right. Followed with Jayden Daniels, a sneaky pick, don't know how he came up with it; maybe Jordan decided to do research for once.

Then straight swag at receiver: Drake London, Tetairoa McMillan, Jameson Williams in the 3-4-6, Rashid Shaheed in the 12th, Michael Wilson in the 9th. Loaded up on swaggy wideouts. Fucked himself slightly at RB but salvaged it — Jaylen Warren in the 8th is solid (might get cucked by Rico Dowdle), RJ Harvey in the 10th good value. Not sure why he went double tight end (Fannin, then Kelce in the 11th), but how bad is Kelce in the 11th really? Could've used one more insurance back — nitpicking. There's one less complete retard in the league and that's not what i needed. Good job Jordan. Aside from not knowing what you were doing on the Dart pick, you didn't fuck up that bad, and the rest was good. B+.

Seventh pick, didn't get fucked that bad — pretty sweet place to be. Starts with Joey B, then more importantly grabs Stroud Boy in the 7th, locked up for two years and finally back where he rightfully belongs. It'll be so nice hearing Hunter both defend CJ's mid-ass performances all year and suffer from them in fantasy. Gets a Nico Collins stack, love that for him — this is a fandom year, just grab all your local boys. DeVonta Smith honestly one of my favorites from this draft, big target for me. Nico / DeVonta / Ladd might be one of the better receiver rooms — won't boom, won't bust.

RBs a little interesting, not sexy to say the least. Derrick Henry in the second is the definition of stable — old, not really washed, big enough to fall in the end zone, but kind of not that guy anymore. Etienne's a mystery, who knows what's going on in Jacksonville; like the Rico Dowdle and Blake Corum darts.

Was really surprised to hear Hunter broke up with his girlfriend earlier this year. If there's one thing i've learned about him through this league, he has an unwavering commitment to low-quality people — Ty'Son Spears makes the roster for a third straight year and this girl couldn't even make it 10 months. After going through six teams here, nobody really looks that sick. Straight B.

AB said he just wanted middle choice, second-to-last, and got what he wanted. Honestly a good spot — Lamar at the 8th is a bargain (i was planning to take him at 4 if Josh Allen didn't fall). Light on RB on paper, but that's because he opens with Bucky (the best keeper in the league), uses the 2nd on Omarion Hampton — awesome under McDaniel — and cashes the 5th he got from the Dart trade into Skattebo 2, a high-value swap that worked out. Only problem is John Harbaugh hates retards like Skattebo, but you get off the Dart train and onto the Skattebo train, funner piece of the Giants anyway, cultural slam dunk.

The rest went to receiver. No remorse on Rashee Rice in the 3rd — doesn't care about people who speed and crash cars, no moral compass on AB. Zay Flowers and Garrett Wilson, two of the funnest 25-year-old wideouts out there, a little too swaggy for an AB team. Also grabs Makai Lemon — truly picks up any retard out there. No high-IQ guys on the skill team, which is why he really invested in Sam Darnold, Sam LaPorta, and Aaron Rodgers as the backup QB to contain the retardness. Oh, and the 9th i gave away in the Dart deal was Michael Wilson — not a big loss given how many receivers he's got. Deep at WR, solid RBs with upside, Darnold/Rodgers fine as QB2, and you just start Lamar, who won't even get punished by the touchdown rule since he never scores touchdowns anyway. Hate to say it — A-.

Sleeper clocked Adam at 55s a pick, 50 on the median — dude burned nearly the entire clock on damn near every selection. That's not deliberation, that's insecurity. Years of doing this and he still needs the full sixty to convince himself he isn't fucking it up.

Gotta give it to the Dykes, i don't really understand them. Traded back out of their pick, got the 5th from Salmaan — basically a 4th at 5.01 — and the 9th they gave is basically a 10th. Good lead-up. Don't think they drafted that well though. Amon-Ra St. Brown in the 9th is the last of the round-1 receivers but clearly a step below the other two. Achane as RB1 is a little sus without McDaniel in that shitty Dolphins offense; Malik Nabers in round 3 off the ACL, sketch.

Their middle rounds are where it gets interesting — and not good. Trevor Lawrence, Emeka Egbuka on the Salmaan pick in the 5th, Tyler Warren at 5, then reach up for Kyler Murray in the 6th. The whole middle dedicated to QB-QB-TE. That was the spot to take a back — David Montgomery, De'Andre Swift, Skattebo all sitting there — and instead they don't take another RB until the 11th, stuck with Javonte and Achane, and Achane's a little boy with injury risk. Then big punts on receivers i don't even think are good (Matthew Golden and another flyer) when they should've been taking RB. Probably regretting Tyler Warren already — huge fall at tight end, they even got Juwan Johnson in the 15th who might be better. Messy. Nothing they excel at — QBs mid, receivers good-not-great, RBs solid. C+.

Ahmad said he was quitting / mentally checked out, but he looks pretty tapped in — good sync between Josh and Ahmad on live draft. Don't know if they were targeting Jonathan Taylor at 10; that's around where i got less excited in the first round, but he's a fine, still-elite back. They're happy with Saquon in the second — double RB probably feels good, even if the later-round receivers were better values than the later-round backs.

Point proven: they go Chris Olave at 3.10, George Pickens keeper in the 4th, then Carnell Tate in the 8th (sketchy) and Xavier Worthy in the 10th — WR3 spot's a little thin, but that's the easiest position to plug, especially down a 7th. The one mistake: Matthew Stafford in the 5th (liked it) and Jared Goff in the 6th — Ahmad gets both former Rams QBs, maybe this settles which one he actually likes, big Goff stan and Stafford hater. Would've liked one more receiver and QB punted a little later. Punting tight end with Isaiah Likely in the 14th was the right call — an easy way to make up for less capital. RBs more stable than Chan's. B.

Give the reigning champ some leniency — dude drafted from mobile, in an Uber, during an immigration thing. Dedication's impressive, so any bad things get tempered. Love the open: James Cook, Justin Jefferson, two skill players, leaves the rest wide open. Caleb Williams keeper at 3.11, sweet. Kind of like the Dak pick — feels bad to go off-skill there, but Dak's a reliable QB. Then RB/WR again — Terry McLaurin, good — before Brian Thomas Jr at 7.11, which he doesn't see; didn't think that was a Choi type of player until i remembered he loves receivers that do nothing on the field. Perfect fit.

Tucker Kraft at 8 is suspect off the ACL and high for a TE, don't love it. JK Dobbins mid. Josh Downs at 10 nice. Then another do-nothing receiver in Deebo, maybe revived back in San Francisco — last time Choi had him was on the Niners doing nothing, so welcome home. Woody Marks in the 12th feels like a steal. Solid draft from an airport, no real mistakes, no big wins. Probably the best QB room in the league right now — Caleb/Dak might even be better than Salmaan's Hurts/Mahomes since nobody else went early QB that heavy. B+.

Choi drafted straight down ADP — most disciplined board in the league (8.7 off ADP), no reaches, no swings, chalk the whole way. No surprise from a guy doing it while detained at immigration. Hard to get cute with the board when you're not even sure you're getting back in the country.

At this point i'm desensitized, was getting ready for something retarded — pleasantly surprised nothing was out of line. Used a first-round pick on a first-round-worthy player, solid base. Justin Herbert as the 4th QB off the board, not egregious. First reach was Travis Etienne at 37 (−21), round-and-a-half early, but if you're a believer you're a believer. Tony Pollard a little early in the 8th, but there's history there with the JT trade years ago, soft affinity.

Really like the stacks — Quentin Johnston in the 10th as a Herbert stack, both Chargers, feels intentional this time, like Irish actually put research in, with Jayden Reed in the 9th on top. Kyle Pitts in the 12th (+55) one of the biggest values in the draft, went at 110, projected ~75. Would've been even better if he didn't burn capital on Dalton Kincaid in the 8th — could've had another skill guy. Only actual bad pick is Travis Hunter, reported to play like two snaps of offense in the preseason, probably a quick drop. Team doesn't look bad — just want one more RB3 instead of Pollard. But there's nobody easy in this league anymore. This is bullshit. B.

Give Matt this — Sleeper had him 2nd-longest on the clock (48s median), so maybe the old dog was actually trying this year. Then again, maybe not: he still posted the single worst average AND median pick-distance off ADP in the league (21.1 / 17.6). Old dog, only so many new tricks — took his sweet time and reached on everyone anyway.
